Gurston Down 22nd June 2014 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The rolling Wiltshire downs welcomed us in fine form with blue skies and a few white clouds for the first of this years’ visits. Nine 500s represented by five makes along with Charles Reynolds v-twin lined up to test their skills. John and Andrew Forsyth were to share the Alfa Dana.
Back in the paddock, team Reynolds, resplendent in matching labelled t-shirts, and helped by Jan, were busy curing a rev counter problem on the 500. It had refused to register much more than 2000 rpm. Old cars, older barn, lovely.
