Eric Guest built his special in 1952 at Highways Motors in Redditch, the garage which he owned. It used a JAP engine mated to a a Royal Enfield gearbox with Morris 8 brakes. Most other components were from standard road cars and Eric nearly didn't complete the car, feeling that it was too heavy. As a result, competition success was not forthcoming and Eric sold the car in 1957. After passing though various owners, it is now with Martyn Baylis who is finally restoring it.
