Kondor

Condor/Kondor

Jose Jungbecker car which was originally designed as a 750cc kleinstrennwagen car with a BMW flat twin motor, mounted behind the driver. The name, apparently derives from a brand of gramophone needles

Some success was achieved, including wins for Huschke von Hanstein (the long time Porsche PR Manager) at Aachen in July 1949, and Grenzlandring in September and for Friedrich Dilthey at Grenzlandring in September 1950. Three cars were built.

A fourth car was built by the project's second owner which was called Kondor, also fitted with a BMW engine.
