Keith Hall came from Newcastle and competed regularly from 1953 through to
1955 sometimes as part of the Border Reivers team of Jock McBain. He
achieved some good results and a few wins. He used a Cooper throughout,
engined for '53 then the Border Reivers
Mk VIII for '54. Keith also drove a Cooper-Bristol and competed
at Le Mans, sharing a Lotus XI with Cliff Allison
in 1956, when they failed to finish after Cliff had a collision with a dog
and '57 when they finished 14th overall, the race being won by the Jaguar of
Ron Flockhart and Ivor Bueb.
