BRM

Alan Staton and Ken Gayfer built the BRM (Baker's Road Motors) in Melbourne, Australia during 1957/8.

It was based on the Cooper Mk VIII of Bruce Walton and Murray Rainey's Mk IX using glass fibre body panels copied from the Walton car. Initially a long stroke Norton engine was used but various configurations and engine sizes were later used, including a 998cc Vincent.
