Jordan

Jordan

Herb Jordan, an engineer with IBM and motorcycle racer from Toronto, Canada, built the Jordan Special in 1957. The car was built very much along early Cooper lines with a box section ladder chassis with additional tubular bracing to which the body panels were attached. Fiat "500" suspension using lower wishbones and transverse leaf springs was used at the front and rear. The engine was based on an AJS unit, heavily modified using Harley Davidson and Norton components. Sadly we have no results for Herb.
