80th Anniversary of the 500 Club – Commemorative Sticker

2026 celebrates the 80th Anniversary of the 500 Club (established in 1946). To mark this occasion the 500 Owners Association have commissioned and produced some stickers to celebrate. Circuit Racing Entries Now Open

We are pleased to say that entries for the 500 OA Historic F3 Championship are now open in PurpleLap.

We are all looking forward to a fantastic season.
The grid for Brands Hatch is full but we still have space for Reserves. It would be wonderful if we could also get a full grid of 34 for the Roy Hunt Trophy at Oulton Park.
Before that we have Snetterton, Mallory Park and Cadwell. All great 500 circuits and hopefully there will be plenty of social fun to accompany the racing.
Angouleme entries will open later when we have more details.

2026 AGM – Saturday 24th January 2026

The AGM will be held at The Woodland Grange, Old Milverton Lane, Leamington Spa, CV32 6RN.

Coffee/Tea on arrival from 10.00 with the AGM starting at 10.30am in room 17.
Buffet Lunch in the Maple Restaurant. Approx 1pm.
The meeting should finish around 4pm.

Taking your trailer abroad

Many members will already know of this requirement, but just in case you are not aware, you must register all trailers over 750kg to drive to or through most countries in Europe, apart fromIreland, Cyprus, Malta and Spain.
This means that these trailers making international journeys will need to:
· display their own registration plate (separate from the vehicle towing them)
· have a trailer registration certificate that can be shown to a foreign authority on request
Countries where you don’t need to register your trailer
You do not need to register trailers that are only used:
· in the UK
· for journeys between the UK and Ireland
You also do not need to register trailers used in:
· Cyprus
· Malta
· Spain
However, you must register trailers to tow them through any country where the rules apply in order to reach Cyprus, Malta or Spain.

HISTORIC FORMULA JUNIOR and FORMULA 3 500cc & 1000cc VOLUME 17 (2024)

The next volume in the Formula One Register series documenting Historic Formula Junior and Formula 3 500cc and 1000cc racing is now available.

The format is the same as previous volumes – All Formula Junior races WORLD-WIDE are included. Also included are 1.0 litre and 500cc Formula 3 races. Sprints and hill-climbsare also covered.

Each race is covered with an entry list, chassis numbers, grid positions, full results with race times and competitors’ fastest laps and for UK and Continental races there isa race report. With practice and race time sheets no longer regularly distributed, this provides a unique permanent Record of the year’s events.

Published as a Limited Edition of 70 copies, the book runs to some 230 pages, hard bound to match the earlier volumes, numbered and signed.

The price is £60 + £4.50 post & packing in the UK.

Rest of Europe £15.00. (see footnote)
