Albert Zains |
Albert began racing a Cooper regularly from 1954 and continued through to 1960. He achieving creditable if unspectacular results and rarely travelling far from London. Here are some we know:
In 1957, Albert commissioned a widened and lengthened Cooper Mk XI, christened the Flash Special, which he used until 1960. Albert may have operated a number of dry cleaning establishments in the Shepherds Bush area of London, is this where the name derives from?
He seems to have quit racing around this time to set up the Azum Kart Company in Epsom. Please get in touch if you can tell us more of his life. |
