Kaj Hansen

Kaj Hansen

Kaj Hansen had been a prominent name in Danish inter-war racing, riding in speedway and driving a Bugatti among other things, and when competition activities resumed again in 1947 he was one of the first Danes to build a car for the new 'Midget' class, the Hansen - JAP which he used in Scandinavian events from 1948  to 1950. For 1951, he switched to an Effyh and embarked on a tour, taking in a number of races in Germany as well as the Dutch Grand Prix. In 1952 he made yet another home-built 500cc F3 chassis, which he raced alongside the Effyh in Continental events.
