Prescott 26th May 2007 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
After the changeable weather conditions at Wiscombe Park, I was looking forward to the good weather that was forecast for the Saturday Prescott meeting…also after my twin spark magneto had failed at Wiscombe I decided to revert back to my usual set up… On display in the paddock at this ‘La vie en blue’ weekend were some very rare and unusual French cars: 2006 F1 Renault; Bebe Peugeot; very large (and pointed) Voisen; an equally large Panhard Levassor GP of 12.8 litres that Mr Toad would have just loved; there was also a propeller driven (propelled?) car similar to that featured in a recent VSCC article…and many, many, more…a Bugatti Veyron also on display and demonstrated up the hill by Pierre-Henri Raphanel former F1 driver.
