For those of you who use electric roller starters and have to be independent of helpers from time to time (or are just control freaks!) the existence of a driver-operated stand is essential. These two are my prototypes (the one you’ll see at meetings is the ‘Mk III’), the smaller was used for my first season and the larger as a possible final design, and although rough and ready is the stronger.
The tops are designed for a wishbone arrangement and they are easy to adapt to any rear suspension arrangement. These were used with a Cooper and a JBS.
Surplus to requirements (who needs three stands?), £50 will get you the one of your choice (or if you want one to use and one for your coffee table, £75 the pair).
