Heimo Hietarinta

Heimo Hietarinta was a regular in Formula 3 during the mid to late '50s, always in a Cooper. he competed mainly in his native Finland with occasional trips to Sweden

Our first record is a tenth place at Helsinki in May 1954, then not until May 1956 where he takes fifth place, again at Helsinki then second to Curt Lincoln at Turku a few days later and finally a win at Turku later in the year.

At Helsinki in May 1957 he finished third to Lincoln and André Loens. In August, he shared a Ferrari TR with Curt in the Swedish GP.

Heimo became Finnish Champion in 1958 and 1960.
