Nineteen Formula 3 cars went to Cadwell Park for the VSCC meeting. The good turnout and a beautiful sunny day meant that everyone had a great time both on and off the track. As well as the usual array of Coopers we were treated some more unusual cars such as the pair of JBSs of Hakan Sandberg and Richard Utley, the FMS of Graham Murdoch and Kerry Horan's Trenberth. The Arnott of John Chisholm attracted a great deal of attention having recently returned from America and looking lovely after a re-build. David Lecoq dominated practice in his Petty with a time of 1:58 with John Turner in second, Neil Hodges in third and James Culver, Fourth. David took the early lead in the race but eventually retired, feeling unwell. James Culver came through rapidly from the second row to take the lead and set a blistering fastest lap of 1:57.45 John Turner and Neil Hodges battled for several laps until Neil's clutch expired allowing Richard Fry through for third and Geoff Gartside into fourth.
