Mallory Park 25th July 2004 | ||||||
The non-championship Formula Junior race at Mallory Park was marred by a serious accident which befell Richard Fry during practice in his Cooper. Richard's car rolled at the exit of Gerards Bend, he was thrown from out and suffered serious injuries. The FJ race was won by Edwin Jowsey in his Lotus 22. John Turner and David Lecoq led the 500 class but both retired leaving Rodney Delves to take the win in his Kieft, followed by James Holland and Bill Needham in Coopers.
