Gladstone

J.P. Gladstone's early 500. It appears to use a JAP engine and has an interesting independent rear suspension using elastic in tension. The front is more conventional in the Cooper style. It appeared twice at Silverstone in 1949, on the first occasion it was rejected by the scrutineers and was unplaced in the second.
