Smith Mk III

Smith Mk III

After the 1948 Smith and 1951 Smith Buckler, in 1954, Ken Smith built his third car along Cooper lines. He raced it himself during the later part of '54 when Ken retired and the car passed to Henry Koring. Henry fitted a JAP engine and raced the car through to 1958, rarely travelling but achieving the occasional win in the JAP only races common at Brands Hatch at that time. It passed on again to David Kamm in 1960.
