Eric Paulson

Eric Paulson

Robert Eric Paulson was born in January 1911 in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. Prior to the war, he took a keen interest in all things mechanical, lorries & buses, motorcycles and light aircraft and ran his own haulage company.

Unsurprisingly, he was selected for the Tank Regiment during hostilities before returning to road haulage and garage owner. Eric later retired to East Coast as newsagent and post office. He competed in 1952 and '53, initially in a Cooper JAP but then switching to a Kieft-Norton

Eric passed away in 1984.
