Mike Trackman

Mike began competing in a JBS in 1956 and continued through to 1962. The JBS was somewhat outclassed by this time and Mike ran a JAP engine, which would not have helped but he achieved some creditable results in spite of these handicaps.

8th in the Non Experts heat at Brands Hatch on 19th May 1957,

2nd at Snetterton on 4th August 1957,

3rd in the Brighton Speed Trials on 7th September 1957,

6th in the JAP Race at Brands on 6th October 1957,

7th in the Junior Race at Brands on the 26th December 1957,

 

3rd in the Junior Race at Brands on 7th April 1958,

3rd in the JAP Race at Brands on 20th April 1958,

15th in the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on 19th July 1958,

 

14th at Crystal Palace on 22nd August 1959 in a Martin,

 

1st in the JAP Class for the Commander Yorke Trophy at Silverstone on 6th August 1960,

6th in the Lewis-Evans Trophy at Brands Hatch on 16th October 1960,

 

3rd at Brands Hatch on 6th May 1962 in a Martin
