KIEHN SPECIAL 500 with JAP 4B SOLD

Built in 1958 by Kiehn Berthelsen the Danish speedway championship on a Cooper MkIX chassis.

Uno Jensen who built the Alfa Dana F3 cars used this chassis to copy for his own cars then Kiehn Berthelsen finished it in Jensen’s workshop to his own specification.

A very individual 500 with the advantages of a good Cooper chassis.

Competed at the Goodwood Revival with previous owner.

I have competed in hillclimbs and sprints and the car finishes at the front of the field.

The car has a current 500 OA VIF document and an expired historic technical passport (HTP).

Included in the sale is a massive selection of spares including paddock jack stand, 2x gearboxes, a set of wheels, padded seat, circuit tank (car currently has a sprint tank fitted), UJ joints, sprockets, chains, electrical, front and rear body work which can be used for a new mould, brake shoes, backplates, original parts from the car pre restoration.

Fully rebuilt JAP 84S engine also available separately.

I have many more photos and information so email or phone for info.
