For Sale FMS JAP

In the ownership of Graham Murdoch for the last 30 years, Graham has decided that the time is now right to see the FMS back out on the circuits and hills with a new driver. The FMS (Fowler & Maries) was built in 1949/50 and was originally fitted with a Manx Norton engine and was campaigned during the 1950's on hills and circuits. It laid idle for a number of years until purchased by Richard White in 1967, who after dropping a valve on the Manx fitted a JAP, an engine that remains in the car to this day. The FMS then passed through six more owners until purchase by Graham Murdoch in 1994. Graham campaigned the car on the hill and circuits for many years, including at the Goodwood Revival. The car is complete and in good order, requiring a complete check and recommissioning before taking to the circuits and hills once again. Graham is seeking offers on £18,000. A spare JAP engine, mag, carbs, fuel pumps and body panels are available by separate negotiation. Graham can be contacted by phone: 02380 893099
