K.G. Special |
Karl-Erik Kronqvist and Fred Geitel built the first Finnish 500 in 1948 based around the Swedish Effyh design although it isn't clear how many Effyh components were used and how many were home grown. Four or five cars were built and competed mainly in short oval and ice races. Curt Lincoln was one of the first drivers but he switched to his own Effyh. Other drivers included Walter Bergstöm, Lars Finnilä, Kauko Ranta and Anatole Stünkel.
